Quad Cities Illinois Trip ~ Walnut Grove Historical Preservation Part 3

It's been almost a month since the last fall trip update! Things have been such a whirlwind. I'm still getting my bearings, juggling everything. I have the Northern Lights Bridal giveaway coming up, aspects of my business, blogging for two other blogs now, writing for Femnista magazine, working on my novels and screenplay--getting a new job. What a insane waltz! But I'm grateful to have so much with which to occupy my time. Would hate to get truly bored. Sometimes all this is a bit much, but a rest out in the sunshine with a good book (or just a nap) is an awesome tonic. ;)

This is what I'm giving away. Isn't it stunning?!
I've been doing some facebook marketing, discussing blogging with other network marketing affiliates (if you want to know more about that and the system we use to make a living online, you can sign up for my newsletter, which gives you that info) and of course, blogging! I've been learning so much, and I'm also very excited to be getting so many cohosts for the upcoming giveaway. I'm giving away a Loki Pendant Necklace! I bought one for myself, I loved the design so much!

If you are interested in cohosting, drop me a line!!

Okay, this is the third part of the Walnut Grove Expedition! Just to put it fancily. We had such a great time there, it was fascinating to see all these preserved sites and antiques. I took so many pictures, it's (obviously) taking me forever to share them all! At least all the good ones. I hope to go back again this year.

Hope you enjoy the pics! These cover the train station, the train (obviously) and this big barn/shed that housed many pieces of old machinery and other antiques. It was incredible! Unfortunately I was in a bit of a hurry to catch up with the others, so I didn't get a lot of photos of the inside. The last is the beginning of "Main Street" with all the storefronts! It was so cool!

Next time I'll be showing the pics I took of the interiors of the different shops of "Main Street"! It was incredible!! (Especially the dentist's chair...no wonder they used to be viewed as evil beings). :)
