Zoology Edition: Part 2

Hey guys! Here's part 2 of my Niabi Zoo pictures. And this is it--I honestly thought I had a bunch more. Hmmm...must have been the heat. I hope you enjoy the pictures. This was a terrific outing for us--and possibly the biggest adventure here was the fact that their bathrooms are both colorful, and, apparently, without locks. I'm not sure who was more amused--me, or the old lady who walked in on me. Certainly won't forget that. She said she'd have to stick her foot out from under the door so people know she's in there! It was a busy, interesting day. And there are pics of the train at the end!

Enjoy!

It was a lot of fun, and a great day. Afterward my uncle took us all out for icecream at Whitey's--it was delicious. I had Mississippi Mud Revel. Definitely want another. It was nice to sit in the sun outside eating icecream, watching my sisters, brother and cousins playing around while enjoying theirs. It was great that we were able to visit. Hope we get to see the family again soon.

Hippie In Heels

P.S. Will be posting my interview with Rachel from Hippie In Heels this Friday! Keep an eye out for that, because she had some really interesting, honest things to share. It was so much fun working with her on this!

  1. This looked like a fun and great day full of memories...at least for you and you're old lady bathroom friend. ;) PS: I had a heart attack when I saw the picture of that...python? boa constrictor of my heart? Yea, I'm scared.

    1. Ha! Funny thing is, I'm fascinated by snakes. At one point I was unnerved, as a kid, but what is even stranger is that when I was about 3, my mom and I were taking care of a friend's boa and there is this picture of me (I was tiny, with a head of curly hair!) with the boa draped over my shoulders, me reaching out to touch the head! I looked perfectly at ease!

And yes, it was a great day. Definitely one I'll remember! Thanks for commenting!
