A Morning That Makes You Believe~That Anything Is Possible

spring inspirational quotes

This morning is so beautiful! And the week promises to be warm and sunny! I am so excited. I'm so giddy to see spring here! I took my walk early today, as it was so nice outside, so I spent the morning walking six miles and thoroughly enjoying myself. And I had a good run at the end.

It is times like this morning, when the world looks so beautiful, and purple blankets of flowers are covering the slopes and plains, that I feel like I'm closer to understanding what Eden must have been like. The sun riding high in the clear blue sky, everything calm and beautiful down below. It's time like this that I feel like I own the world. That its joy is mine. I believe that God intended for us to feel this beauty so acutely that it is a literal part of our radiance and joy.

It makes me think of all that I can accomplish. And since at that moment I was taking my exercise, it made me think of my goal of losing twenty pounds by next January. I have started a challenge with a friend, and together we're using Weight Watchers to keep tabs on our progress and intake. It has really opened my eyes to how much I overeat—I'm not fat, but honestly, the calorie numbers were rather shocking. And just from a normal day! Well then. Made me realize that certain portions actually aren't “tiny” they “sufficient”. (And thank goodness, because otherwise we'd quickly keel over in a survival situation). But instead of this making me feel like I'm depriving myself, I feel grateful to know that I actually WON'T be starving myself by eating that much less. (There's psychological trickery for you). And to be perfectly honest...I can't wait to see how far I go! I feel fully confident that I'll reach my goal, and I'm SO excited!

What are your beautiful moments that make you feel like anything is possible? I think it is so important to hold on to that belief—the world turns by miracles that happen everyday. Things of wonder. So anything...anything is possible. ;) I would love to hear your story.
